ChallengeFinds

Delete your account

This page is for the ChallengeFinds app by SIA “Happy 360”, on iPhone and Android. You can delete your account and everything we store about it, either inside the app or by email. Deleting is permanent, so read the last section first if you pay for a membership.

Delete it in the app

This is the fastest way. There is no waiting period.

  1. Open ChallengeFinds and sign in to the account you want to delete.
  2. Go to Settings, then the Account section, and tap Delete account…. The steps are the same on iPhone and on Android.
  3. Confirm with Delete everything.

The account is removed from our servers straight away, and the app clears your challenge progress from that phone too.

Delete it without the app

If you no longer have the app, or can’t sign in, email support@challengefinds.com from the email address your account uses, with “Delete my account” in the subject. We check that the request comes from that address, delete the account, and write back to confirm.

If you signed in with a private relay address (for example Apple’s Hide My Email), say so in your message. We’ll work out together how to confirm the account is yours.

How long it takes: we usually reply within two business days and delete the account then. We always finish within one month of your request.

What gets deleted

  • Your account: email address, internal account ID, and sign-in details, including any Sign in with Apple link (we also revoke Apple’s access token).
  • Every challenge you started, completed or abandoned, and when.
  • Every day you logged: completion, mood ratings and your notes.
  • Your per-exercise progress totals.
  • Your membership status on our server and the record of when your free first challenge started.

Our hosting provider keeps routine infrastructure backups. Those roll off automatically within 7 days, and a deleted account is not restored from them.

What we keep

Everything in your account is gone. A few records sit outside it:

  • Payment records. If you bought a membership, Apple or Google (the store that took your payment) and our subscription service, RevenueCat, keep their own transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law require. We can’t delete those, and we never held your card details.
  • Anonymous usage and crash reports, if you chose to share them. They were never linked to your account or email, so we can’t pick out yours. They are deleted automatically after 12 months.
  • Short-lived server logs (technical request records kept for security), which are discarded on their normal schedule.
  • Your deletion email, if you asked by email. It stays in our support inbox so we can show the request was handled.

Details are in the Privacy Policy, sections 6 and 7.

Before you delete

  • Deleting your account does not cancel a membership. Cancel it first, or you will keep being charged. On iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play, your profile picture, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions. Steps are in the support FAQ.
  • Want a copy of your data first? Email privacy@challengefinds.com and we’ll send a complete export within 30 days.
  • Deleting the account can’t be undone. Your streaks, history and notes are gone for good.
